About MyKonto
MyKonto, by Octet Solutions, helps businesses prepare, manage and download invoices and maintain related business records. These terms describe the use of this service. The features available to you depend on your account and selected plan.
MyKonto is a business recordkeeping tool. It does not replace the advice of your chartered accountant or other professional adviser, and creating an invoice does not by itself file a tax return or complete a statutory submission.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business whose records you manage. Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in account and verification codes secure. Do not share a verification code with another person.
Tell us if you believe your account has been used without permission. You are responsible for the people you authorise to access your business records.
Your invoices and business information
You retain ownership of the business information you provide. You permit us to process and display that information as needed to operate the service and provide the features you use.
Check the issuing business, buyer details, invoice number, dates, quantities, prices, discounts and tax treatment before using or sharing an invoice. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of your records, including information you enter on behalf of another business. Keep copies of important documents and meet the recordkeeping obligations that apply to your business.
Plans, payments and refunds
Review the price, plan benefits and access period shown before completing a purchase. Payments are handled through Razorpay; your bank and the payment provider may apply their own terms. A payment confirmation is separate from an invoice you create for your own customer.
Contact support with your payment reference if you are charged twice, your payment fails, or paid access is not activated. Do not include card details, passwords or verification codes. Refunds are subject to the applicable purchase terms and your statutory rights. These terms do not introduce automatic renewal or authorise recurring debits.
Responsible use
Do not use MyKonto for fraudulent invoices, unlawful activity, unauthorised access, or content that infringes another person's rights. Do not interfere with the service or try to access records that you are not authorised to view.
We may restrict access where necessary to address misuse, security risks or a legal requirement. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Service availability and responsibility
The service may be interrupted by maintenance, faults or events involving external providers. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every business's tax requirements are covered by a template.
Review generated documents before relying on them. Any limits on responsibility are subject to applicable law; these terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy and external services
Our Privacy Policy explains the information processed through MyKonto and the providers involved. External sign-in, payment and messaging services have their own terms and privacy notices. Use those services only if you are comfortable with their requirements.
Changes, questions and governing law
Changes to these terms will be identified by a revised date and version. Where a change requires notice or acceptance, it must be handled before that change takes effect for your account.
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory rights that apply to you. For account, payment or service questions, contact MyKonto support using the address below.
